Game On! – March 13
Looking for something fun to do on a Wednesday evening? Join the Carrollton Public Library at Game On! This weekly event occurs from 6-8 p.m. at the Josey Ranch Lake Library (1700 Keller Springs Road). Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the hobby, all are welcome to participate in some friendly competition. Feel free to bring your own game or play one from the Library's collection. Quilting Group for Seniors – March 14
If you can sew, you can quilt. Join other seniors at the Carrollton Senior Center (1720 Keller Springs Road) each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. to create beautiful pieces of art with friends. Participants are asked to bring their own sewing machine and materials. Attendees can work on their personal projects or complete a project collectively with the group. Jazz & Blues Band Practice for Seniors – March 14
All seniors ages 50 and older are invited to join their fellow musicians for an acoustic jam session. Enjoy playing various jazz and blues music with like-minded individuals at 1 p.m. each Thursday at the Carrollton Senior Center (1720 Keller Springs Road). Participants must know their basic chords before playing along, but all are welcome to sit in. Amps are only allowed for bass and autoharp. Spring Break Creative Corner – March 14
Spend some time unwinding and get those creative juices flowing with a special Spring Break Creative Corner. This come-and-go, self-directed program invites kids to freely color and create each Thursday from 3-5 p.m. at Hebron & Josey Library (4220 N. Josey Lane). Supplies are provided. Thursday Night Dance for Seniors – March 14
Want to turn a regular Thursday into something extraordinary? Join the Carrollton Senior Center (1720 Keller Springs Road) for the Thursday Night Dance. This soirée occurs each Thursday from 7-9:15 p.m. and includes refreshments. Each week features different entertainers. Participants must be 50 years old or older and have a valid Senior Center membership or day pass or must be accompanied by someone who is able to participate.
